CARAH BOWEN, Instructor & Competition Team Coordinator
I began my dance training when I was two years old and continued until I was about 10 years old. I started dancing again when I was in 8th grade at Lonestar. My freshman year of high school I started competing at Lonestar and continued for the remainder of high school. I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, clogging and hip hop during high school. I spent everyday dancing and I absolutely loved competing. My Senior year I had the privilege of assisting, competing and teaching. Above all, I have grown to love being a dance teacher and working with young children. Lonestar Collective Dance has become a huge part of my life and I am so excited to continue educating my students by showing them how much I love to dance.
I graduated from Boerne High School in 2017 and started my freshman year of college at Texas State University. I now attend Schreiner University pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and I hope one day to be a Kindergarten Teacher. I enjoy spending time in my mom’s classroom, going to church, and of course taking dance!
